For KNPE595 (or other 4th year research opportunities) applications, please reach out to me ahead of the deadline to discuss the potential project and the feasibility of that project given the time constraints. We will work together to build on your existing work, or develop a project that is feasible given the time constraints.
<aside> 💡 Undergraduate students have had tremendous early success in our lab leading projects and developing their research skills. Many of our students have moved on to rewarding positions in technology, sport analytics, medical school, allied health professions, and graduate school.
In many instances undergraduate students have contributed as authors on both conference and journal publications.

Please send me ([email protected]) a 1-page (for Master's) and 2-page (for Ph.D.) statement on why you would like to be in the lab and what your project scope would look like. After, we should have a video call to discuss your interests, goals, and what you would like to do for the next 2-5 years. Graduate studies presents a great opportunity to learn deeply about a topic and deeply about yourself as well.
